Roads can really get very slippery after a rain. I believe that most drivers ignore that because I often meet other cars that speed up over the wet road. And that is a very dangerous thing to do… and of course reckless because you are putting your life and other people’s lives in peril.
There is no good reason to speed away on a wet road. The tires do not have good grip and it will take a harder push on the brake pedal just to make a car stop. Just imagine should you have to make a quick stop, it will be a hard thing to do. And that’s what makes driving in that condition even more dangerous.
